Difficulties with car removal — LCG keeps order

The structural division of LCG cars has been operating as part of LCG since 2017 and continues to provide quality service to customers even during wartime. The main task of the unit is the organization of delivery to Ukraine, forwarding and customs clearance of vehicles.

The first thing that LCG cars encountered during the war was the unloading of containers in various European countries: Lithuania, Georgia, Poland. The conditions were crazy: it was possible to pick up a car, for example, from Romania for almost three months.

What are the other difficulties of working with the specified ports?

This is a lack of communication and feedback, inflated rates for container storage, and not a great desire to speed up. Only because Ukrainian cargo arrived at the ports and disrupted the normal life of our European colleagues.

What follows from this?

Increase in the cost of transporting cars to Ukraine. What’s more, against the background of the introduction of preferential customs clearance, carriers have significantly raised prices for the delivery of cars to Ukraine. For the moment, the stakes fell. Now the work is progressing more or less measuredly, although there are still queues at the borders.

What else have LCG cars encountered?

These are constant changes in legislation. During the month of June, everyone witnessed four bills, two ordinances, as well as two laws that affected cars and vehicles in one way or another. But the team coped with all the difficulties and responded in time to any changes in order to do their work. The most famous of them is the cancellation of zero customs clearance. Quite pleasant against the background of all this is the absence of payments to the Pension Fund for electric cars that will be imported to the territory of Ukraine at this time.

How did the war affect the work of LCG cars?

The team continues to work and respond to many requests from customers. LCG cars is engaged in delivery from various ports in Europe, they process cars at the border. LCG cars provides services related to passenger vehicles in any way: import and export. Now, against the background of the lack of payment to the Pension Fund, there is a great opportunity to save on electric cars. Therefore, the LCG cars team will help deliver an electric car from China to any wallet.
